Small Dog Rescue of Minnesota

Small Dog Rescue of Minnesota

Small Dog Rescue (SDR) is an all-volunteer group committed to the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of dogs 20 pounds and under. Dogs are fostered in volunteers' homes so they can be loved like a family member until they are placed in a suitable adoptive home, determined by a review of a written application, a criminal background check, several reference consultations, and a home visit. SDR is a no-kill rescue, resorting to euthanasia only when a dog is either suffering from an untreatable medical condition or considered dangerous and not responding to rehabilitative training efforts. SDR is a 501(c)(3) Federally Tax Exempt Organization and Nonprofit Tax Exempt Incorporated Organization.

The Wildcat Sanctuary (TWS) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, no-kill rescue facility, located in Sandstone, Minnesota. TWS is committed to public education about the captive wildlife crisis; offering veterinarian training opportunities; and supporting legislative solutions to the public safety issues created by private ownership of wild animals.

Animal Ark

Animal Ark
Minnesota'a Largest No Kill Animal Welfare Organization

At Animal Ark, you will find the most home-like animal shelter in Minnesota providing some of the best animal housing available to homeless pets in our community. Animal Ark is unique among the animal shelters in Minnesota. Though we are small and have limited funds, we have built and maintain the most elaborate sheltering available for homeless dogs, cats and rabbits. Instead of small, cold, stainless steel cages, cats are housed in large, open, kitty apartments that include exterior windows, cat trees and other amenities. Founded in 1977, Animal Ark is a 501(c)3 non-profit Minnesota corporation.
Feline Rescue, Inc.

Feline Rescue, Inc.

Feline Rescue, Inc. is a Minnesota based no-kill companion cat rescue organization. Our founders established Feline Rescue in 1997 in Minneapolis, MN as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all volunteer organization, with no paid staff. We are funded exclusively through donations and grants. We receive no municipal, state, or federal funding.

Our mission is to provide safe shelter, veterinary care, and socialization for stray, abandoned or abused cats until good permanent homes can be found for them. Our mission does not enable us to accept owner surrendered animals.

We provide rescue and relief to the homeless and endangered cats in our community through programs that offer shelter, foster, social and medical rehabilitation, feral cat colony management, spay/neuter subsidy, and community education.
